About The Talent Centre
The Talent Centre is committed to the idea that everyone has more talent than they
realise. Since it was founded in 1986 by Dr Jonathan Robbins we have been working to help others to release their potential,
working with many companies and people to make this possible. We recognise the power
that learning has to change lives and create opportunities, and the power that effective
systems have to unleash latent potential. Because of this we concentrate on creating
tangible results which benefit our clients.
We are driven by the belief that businesses should be communities of people with
a shared sense of purpose. Central to this is an understanding that people are not
just resources, or personnel, but individuals who have the capacity to make things
happen. Purpose and performance are the keys to this, not just for us but for our
customers.
Our company structure is effective, flexible and responsive; this keeps costs down and ensures value for those we work with. Our location provides surroundings
that encourage creativity and innovation, but at the same time gives easy access
to London and Europe. We make extensive use of devolved working and information
technology, and we draw on a network of gifted associates and fellow professionals
to help achieve our goals.
The core of our business is focused in five areas:
-
Research into learning and assessment;
-
Business and education consultancy;
-
Development and implementation of assessment management tools and systems'
-
Provision of workshops and training;
- IT Services.
Because qualities of creativity and imagination are important to us as an organisation, we choose to work in an area of outstanding natural beauty,
that has inspired authors like Thomas Hardy and artists like Constable. The Talent
Centre is located in a building listed as of architectural importance, not far from
the port of Weymouth in Dorset.
We are a little over two hour's south and west of
the City of London, with a good regional airport and direct links to Europe. This
is an area where people using the most modern communications and technology, often
work in old stone buildings and thatched houses. It is a region where traditional
values of craftsmanship and innovation, combine with contemporary skills and knowledge
to encourage fresh thinking. We are confident that our clients benefit from this,
and that this choice of location contributes to the high standards of service that
we strive to deliver.
